My stay at this hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. The rooms were adequate and clean, but in need of refurbishment, with no tea/coffee facilities and a buffet breakfast only offered on the first day. The price of $120 per night felt a bit steep for what was provided, especially considering the cleanliness issues with dead insects around.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The beachside block rooms were a little dated and in need of updating, and the location was quite far, requiring a climb of a few hundred stairs. On the plus side, the hotel is across a very busy street from the office in some rooms, which can be quite convenient.

The staff were incredibly helpful throughout my stay. They suggested a room change that made perfect sense, booked tours for us, and ensured everything was convenient. However, there was an incident where they were quite rude to my friend about a booking discrepancy and refused to take responsibility.

The hotel's location was great, right on the beach with easy access to both San Antonio National Park and a few shops and restaurants. The proximity to various attractions like Manuel Antonio Park, the Tarcoles River, Carara National Park, Jacó Beach, and Herradura Beach was a big plus.
